He'd had a crush on her since he first met her at the Grille. She was so sweet and nice to him. He finally got the courage to start flirting with her. He even got permission from Matt. He thought the last challenge was getting Bonnie to go out with him. That is, until he meets Damon Salvatore.

I finally figured out what to do for my fanfiction without Elena in it. Jeremy is still in it, but I may take him out soon. As of right now, the rest of the Gilbert's are alive and well.
Katherine will be a doppelgänger, but I'm having her be the end of the Petrova doppelgänger line.
Bonnie's parents will most likely be in this but I'm still having a debate on the topic.
The story is Bamon centric, but does feature Steroline, Forwood, Beremy (shudders, it will mostly be Jeremy flirting with Bonnie though). There will of course be flashbacks to Statherine (that's easier for me to remember than Katherine and Stefan's real ship name) and Datherine.
I think I'm going to follow the show's storyline beginning at season 1 but with tons of changes. I may do where each part of this fanfiction (I'll probably end up doing full fanfiction stories per season) and have 1 chapter equal 1 episode.
There's a prologue coming up later today so look out for it.
