Avery's P.O.V

"I WON A TRIP TO NEW YORK!" I screamed.

"What did you say, honey?" My mom asked.

"I won a one year trip to New York!"

"That's great! I've always wanted to go to New York and become an comedian." My mom said.

"Yeah, that's not gonna happen." I replied.

"So when is the trip? And how did you win the tickets?"

"Well, I pretended to be a highschooler and took this quiz and beat all of those losers. And the trip is on..." I quickly checked my computer, " IN TWO DAYS?!"

"We gotta go pack now, honey. EVERYONE GO PACK YOUR SUITCASES! WE'RE GOING TO NEW YORK FOR A YEAR!"

-TIME SKIP TO TWO DAYS-

"I'm so excited to go to Time's Square!" I squealed while aboarding the plane.

I really was gonna miss Lindsay and Max though. But my thoughts were interrupted when the plane started flying. It was magical. Seeing all those lights in New York. It made me feel like I was in a whole new world.

Riley's P.O.V

"I can't believe you guys kissed!" I yelled angrily at Maya and Lucas.

"It didn't mean anything we promise!" Maya replied with a sad face on and her hands up in surrender.

Seeing them sad made me feel bad. So I decided to forgive them.

"Fine. I forgive you. I can't stay mad at you guys forever. Bring it in." I said with my hands out we all hugged. I quickly told them I was going to get some water from the fridge cause it was pretty hot in the room. You won't believe what I saw when I came back into the room.

Maya's P.O.V

Riley said was gonna go get water because the room was getting hot so I asked her for a bottle too. I looked at Lucas and he looked back. We were staring into each other's eyes and felt ourselves leaning in. Our lips crashed together. There was nothing I could do to stop it. I tried so hard. I'm such a bad friend. We pulled apart when we heard someone fake coughing.

"Sorry, did I interrupt something?" Riley asked with an icy glare. Great job, Maya. Way to go.

"I'm sorry. It didn't mean anything. We were just caught in the moment! I swear! I'm so so sorry" I surrendered. I looked at Lucas and gave him the 'help me out' esspresion.

"That word means nothing to you! Out!" Riley screamed as I pointed to the window for Maya and then the door for Lucas. Lucas walked up to Riley and put his hands on her shoulders.

"Riley I-"

"Save it, Cowboy! And don't you dare even touch me! She snapped at him. We really did break her.
