Hi Hi everyone. Thanks for the reads on the last story. It was snowing this morning and I got inspired to write. Another Marshall x Everest fluff. I think it's my OTP. Anyway enjoy ^_^.
It was a wintry day at Adventure Bay. Everyone was out having fun out in the fresh powdery snow. The PAW patrol were belly bogging down hills in the park, racing to see who was the fastest. Everest won every time. Katie and Cali were helping Alex make a snowman outside his grandfather's shop.
They dressed it up like Mr. Porter too, with an apron. The pups were almost finished their compition when Ryder called them to the lookout.
"Ryder needs us" they yelped and ran to the lookout. Marshall slipped on some ice and started to tumble into a giant snowball, picking all the rest of the puppies with him as it rolled to the lookout. They crashed into the lift.
"Sorry, I just didn't want to leave the snow" laughed Marshall with a large snowball as a head. They changed into their uniforms and went up.
"Ready for action Ryder sir".
"Thanks pups for getting here so fast. The snow had blocked the train tunnel off at both ends and Mayor Goodway is on that train.
Rubble I need you and your digger to help clear the snow away".
"Rubble on the double".
"Everest I need you to help track where the train is".
"Ice or snow, I'm ready to go"
"I may need you pups so don't wander too far. Okay PAW patrol is on a roll".
Ryder slide down his fireman's pole and Rubble and Everest went down the slide to their vehicles. The three sped off to the train tunnel.
On the train, Mayor Goodway was sitting feeding corn to her handbag chicken Chickaletta "Chickaletta, I hope Ryder and the PAW patrol get here soon. I'm freezing in here" she shivered.
They arrived at the blocked tunnel. Everest jumped out of her snowmobile and ran over to the big pile of snow. She sniffed around where the entrance of the tunnel should be.
"Found you, I'll get you out really fast Mayor Goodway" she yelped as she started to dig.
"Everest it's not saf-"suddenly more snow came down and covered the tunnel she was making and buried her.
"Oh no Everest has been buried under all this snow. What do we do Ryder" whimpered Rubble.
"I'll call for Chase, he can help you to move the snow and find Everest. You start to clear the snow while I call Chase".
Chase was having a snowball fight with Rocky, Skye and Zuma when Ryder called his pup tag" Chase I need you to help Rubble clear the snow, Everest has been buried in the snow too".
"Chase is on the case" he looked over at the worried cockapoo "What's wrong Skye".
"Poor Everest, what is Marshall going to do. I think he has feeling for her"
"I don't know Skye. I have to go, Ryder needs me"
Chase got to the snowed over tunnel just as Rubble found Everest. Her fur was covered in snow and she wasn't awake. "Ryder I found Everest" he shouted as Ryder ran over to them "She isn't waking up. What do I do".
"Hmm we need Marshall and his ambulance here quickly". He called the Dalmatian puppy.
Marshall was worried for the whole drive to the rest of the Paw patrol. He didn't want any of his friends hurt.
Marshall ran over to the other pups and seen Everest lying on the snow. He took out his X-ray and scanned over her body "She has no broken bones but she may have hypothermia from being in the snow so long".
Marshall ran and grabbed blankets from the back of the ambulance" Marshall can you bring her back to the lookout to warm up. Call me if she get worse" Ryder said as he put the bundle of blankets in the back of Marshall's ambulance.
They got back to the lookout and he put the Husky down on a pillow near the heater. Her eyes opened a little when she was put down.
"Is that you Marshall"?
"Everest you should rest and warm up. You're icy cold".
"Maybe if you lie down beside me, you can warm me up too".
"Okay" he stretched and sat beside Everest and looked into her eyes "Get some rest, I'm here so no need to worry".
Everest drifted off to sleep with the young Dalmatian beside her, He fell asleep too. He woke up with two paws resting on his back. Everest was snoring lightly.
"Everest get off me" he blushed. His reply was a louder snore.
"So lady like"
"Are you calling me rude" her blue eyes met Marshall gaze "Because I really don't want to prove a point to my pup in shining armour? Thanks for saving me."
"It was Rubble who found you".
"Ah but it was you who kept me warm and toasty. You're a pretty good blanket you know" she lay her head down on Marshall's tummy like he was a pillow.
"I just don't want to lose someone so special to me "
"I'm special to you"?
"Yup, I get butterflies when you're here in the lookout. I never felt this way with a pup before".
"It's called love Marshall".
"Then I love you" he turned a shade of red that could only be described as cherry.
They snugged closer to each other till their nose met and their tails intertwined. The other pups were outside listening when Ryder walked in.
"What are you doing pups".
"It's so romantic "sighed Skye.
"What's so romantic" he asked with a puzzled face.
"Marshall finally confessed to Everest"
"I was wondering when they were going to get together" he smiled" Come on pups give them some privet time, I'm sure that you Skye wouldn't what the other pups listening to you and Chase privet talks.
The two pups blushed and looked away "We don't know what you're talking about".
