For as long as she could remember, she had been different from most everyone, whether it was her wild hair colors, or the fact that she beat even the most athletic people in her high school, or the fact that she didn't make friends easily due to her attidude. Combine this with the fact that she was bullied since kindergarten, and she really wasn't a social person. But that was fine, because she wasn't all that social with anyone to begin with, partially due to the bullying, and partially due to her mother. You see, her mom was a little... off. She strived for perfection, something Rainbow wasn't much good at, outside of sports. This didn't really sit well with Mrs. Dash, so for 6 years of her life, long sleeves and made-up stories were a normal thing for Rainbow. But she didn't see this as bad, she thought it was just toughening her up. So she was a little sad when her parents divorced, until her father explained that what her mother was doing wasn't what a normal parent does.
