"Fae?" he whispered through the darkness. "Fae? Where are you? Where am I?" the last thing Fiyero Tiggular remembered was standing in his and Elphaba's house.

It all started… not an hour ago even…..

"Fiyero! Fiyero!" she screamed. He would have been worried had he not heard the excitedness in her tone. Just then the door swung open and in came Elphaba barreling in with the silliest smile on her face. She jumped into his arms and it was all he could do to keep them upright. "I found it Fiyero!" she cried into his chest. "I found it! I found the spell that will turn you back!"

"You did?" he was ecstatic. "You really think it's going to work?"

"Of course it is! Now come on, stand right here." She moved all of the chairs away from him and stood facing him, the look on her face was of pure concentration and Fiyero made a note to kiss his wife senseless when he was human again. Slowly she began to chant "Neman akele mut ua mut ua neman neman akele." She repeated the words over and over again and then a wind picked up, which was weird considering they were inside. The next thing he knew he was spinning in circles and he could hear the sound of tearing fabric. Then he heard his wife's blood curdling scream of "Fiyero!". Before he hit the ground and everything went black.

And now, here he is in this suffocating blackness. Wondering where in Oz he is but then he hears a voice. It's soft and faint but it's getting louder. Then he could tell it was sobs, and his name. Someone was crying for him? Was he dead? Then he realized it was Fae. His Fae. But her voice was getting louder and louder.

He shot up out of her lap and sat straight up.

"Fiyero!" she gasped. He looked back at her and once again, for the second time that day, she launched herself at him only this time her lips made contact with his, and he could feel it! He could feel her lips against his! And he could taste her tongue as it made its way rediscovering every crevice that it could find in his mouth. When the need for air was too great he pulled back and placed a hand on her cheek.

"Oh Fae!" tears of happiness were flowing out both of their eyes. "You did it sweetheart." He pulled her in for the tightest and best hug he had ever given anyone. "I am so proud of you." he whispered into her hair. "I am so very proud of you." she pulled back and looked him in the eye.

"Yero," she sighed placing her own hand on his cheek before kissing him again. Once again the fire of their passion consumed them as hands started rediscovering the layout of the other's body.

"Oh, Fae," he said over and over again as he kissed every inch of her and she, him, clothing discarded to the side long forgotten in the frenzy.

They screamed each other's names as they became one body and soul. And finally, both Yero and Fae got to enjoy the wedding night that had eluded them for the past year and a half.
