The small woman, clad completely in black walked along the path, ancient and crumbling stones surrounded her and a dark smirk adorned her face whenever she hid in the shadows to avoid the great Dimos Dragon's which flew in patrols.

Finally she came to an ancient stone staircase that stretched upwards to the distant keep, surrounded in cloads and snow.

Knowning that she was going to be confronted she pulled up her hood and hid the glorious locks of gold-red hair. Hidden in the shadows her eyes glittered like the darkened stone around her neck, waist and wrists. Blood- red eyes twinkled in dark mirth as one of the dragons transformed and landed in front of her.

Her form flickered as she chanted under her breath and suddenly she was two meters away from the monolithic doorways of the keep, leaving a startled Dimos Dragon gaping at the spot where she had stood.

The girl raised one hand and muttered a single word. "Unlock!" The simple spell had so much power in it that the two doors shuddered as spells forged a millenia ago shattered.

Slowly they creaked open and the girl spun around and grinned. "LOCK!" She bellowed, causing the dragons to start with surprise at the noise then gape as the doors sealed themselves behind her.

Spels lashed themselves against the ancient doors and the woman turned back around and began to mount the stairs, running. "I have to hurry." She mumbled under her breath.

Running she reached the large balcony that had a single set of doors, smaller then the main entrance but still impressive, impatient she snarled and let loose a single bolt of raw energy, which shattered the doors into kindling.

Coming into a large throne room she approached the single figure who stood there impotent in a block of ice. Solid ruby-red eyes stared in bored interest which regarded her with resignation. The resignation turned to surprise as she kneeled and began to speak.

"Lord Shabinagdu, My name is Lina Inverse. I have a favor to beg of you"
