"YOU ARROGANT GIT!"
"YOU PRETENTIOUS BITCH!"
"WELL THAT'S RICH COMING FROM YOU!"
"AT LEAST I'M NOT THE ONE WHO SEEMS TO TAKE PLEASURE IN OTHER PEOPLE'S MISFORTUNES, NAMELY MINE!"
"I DO NOT! YOU ASK FOR IT WHEN YOU TAKE THE PISS OUT OF ME AND ASK ME OUT EVERY FIVE MINTUES!"
His eyes glinted with pain.
"If you hadn't noticed Lily, I haven't done that since fifth year" he said maliciously.
She stood there in silence the outrage obvious on her face.
"You know what... I give up with you! I GIVE UP!" she screamed.
"Well fine, see if I care" James walked away his hands shoved viciously into his pockets.
"Arrrgh" she slumped against the wall, this was the last time she would be dealing with that idiot James Potter.
"You know you'll get cold sitting there"
"Remus" she sighed "Why does this always happen?"
He chuckled "I have no idea... let's get to the common room before curfew"
They ambled towards the Gryffindor common room in silence. Once they reached the portrait hole, Lily muttered the password and wordlessly entered the room.
One the sofa closest to the fire she noticed Sirius Black and James Potter obviously in some deep argument. She silently walked past them and climbed the stairs to the girls' dormitories.
Just before she reached the top of the stairs James turned and caught her gaze. She tuned stiffly and walked through the door.
"You know Prongs... I always thought she was never one to hold grudges" laughed Sirius.
"Shut up Sirius"
"What? Just making a point"
