...

On the night of Halloween it is said that the barrier between life and death weakens, allowing the dead to visit the world of the living once more.

He scoffed while reading this, slamming the book shut he threw it back unto his desk as if it had burnt his hands. 'Foolish humans and their foolish legends,' he thought standing from his desk, 'she was foolish to give me this book.' He gave the book one last glare before marching out his office door, slamming it shut behind him.

Walking down the corridor he made sure to check on his pups as he passed their chambers, each was sound asleep which was good they had been in a frenzy this afternoon because of the candy his mate had proved them. Who would know that a single chocolate bar would drive a four year old up a wall…literally? Shaking his head to clear the hectic images from this afternoon, he continued onward towards his chambers.

Passing by his father's old wing, he paused for a second the hairs on the back of his neck were standing on end…danger his senses were screaming at him loudly. Placing his hand on the fang slung to his hip, he walked further into the darken corridor of the old wing. 'What the hell is going on here,' he thought to himself as he gripped the hilt tighter, 'I will not believe my mate this shiro is not haunted!'

Walking to the closest open door he peered in, the room was empty save for a ghostly image standing against the wall. Wait…blinking he tried to clear his vision, surely he was not seeing what he thought he was seeing. Sweat was rolling down his brow as he stared at the image, it started to move towards him…he took a step back.

'BOO!' The image screamed at the now shaking Western Lord.

Eyes widening at the scream, Sesshoumaru whipped around his haori billowing behind him as he made a hasty exit from the room. The ghost dropped to its knees in laughter…he had done it; he had officially scared his eldest!

It was on this Halloween night that the great Lord Sesshoumaru of the Western Lands faced a ghost and lost, his human mate had proven correct when she had told him that the castle was haunted.

….

Good natured humor, eh?

Actually hehe scaring the pants off of Sesshoumaru was pretty funny…I didn't continue it because honestly I didn't believe that I would be able to write a scared Sesshoumaru lol. Got the idea after watching the new Ghost Hunters ep. Tonight lol.
