THE BABY FRAGGLE

Chapter 1: lonely
It was a peaceful day in Fraggle Rock. Everyone was doing their jobs. Red and her son, blue, were having a contest to see who could clean the fraggle pond the most by diving a splashing. Wembley was holding a stick so he could keep track of how big the splash was. His son, Nicky, was doing it too. Mokey and he daughter, lily, were getting radishes. Lily was making sure her mother didn't get thumped by gorgs. Gobo was exploring the lilac caverns with his daughter, jewel.
Everyone was having fun doing their jobs with their kids. Everyone except for boober. Sure he loved doing the laundry, but it was boring doing it alone.

Up in outer space, Ned shimmelfinny's nieces, Olivia and Mia, were visiting for the weekend while their mother was on her anniversary with her husband.
"sprocket! Breakfast time, boy!" doc called out. Sprocket came running out while he was eating, the doorbell rang.
Doc opened the door. "Hello Ned!" "hi doc. My wife is in the hospital. She broke her leg. I need to stay with her for a few days while she gets better. Can you watch my nieces while I am gone?"
"of course!" doc exclaimed.
Sprocket had met them before. He didn't like them very much. "sprocket!" the girls cried out.

Gobo walked in when he was done exploring. "Hey boober, could you wash my sweater? I got lilac juice on it." He saw boober's expression on his face. "is something wrong boober?" he asked.
"yeah." Boober said. "it just gets lonely around here doing laundry and cooking all by myself. You never thought you would hear this from me but…" he paused. "I need some excitement in my life.

Back in outer space, sprocket was getting overwhelmed. So he packed up his things, which is just his food dish, bed and some treats, and he headed out his doggy door.
"Mr. doc," Mia asked. "where is sprocket?" doc looked around. He had been playing with the girls so much that he didn't even realize that sprocket was gone.
"We have to go and look for him." Doc said worriedly.

Gobo decided to read uncle matts postcard and see if that would cheer up boober. So he read: "dear nephew gobo,"
"the creatures in outer space are so amazing sometimes. Why, just the other day, I was strolling along and I heard a cry when I walked past an alley. I went in it and there was a plain box with a blanked over it. I lifted up the blanked and to my amazement, there was a baby fraggle underneath it! As we all know, outer space is much too dangerous for baby fraggles, so I took the liberty of taking time away from my traveling to bring the baby to the house where I started. So if any fraggle you know is willing to adopt a baby, go outside and find the baby on the doorstep. Love, your uncle traveling matt."
"Wow" gobo exclaimed "what a coincidence"
