The Wolf In The Zodiac
Everyone has heard the story of the zodiac but few know all of it .The following is the continuation of the story.
All of the animals (excluding the cat) were eating and laughing enjoying the banquet when suddenly the door flew open and in the doorway stood the wolf.
The wolf was furious and he stared at the animals with such anger that they flinched.
"HOW DARE YOU!" he roared, causing the animals to jump.
They all mentally berated themselves. How could they have forgotten the wolf. It had been so foolish of them. They hoped that his wrath was not too great.
"We are sorry great wolf", said the animals fearfully.
"Take all of the food you want. We beg your forgiveness" they cried.
The wolf grinned. He ate his fill of the food and , taking pity on the animals, left.
However, before departing he paused and said:
"Fear not animals. I will cause no harm but I am still angry. I shall return.
And with those words he swept out of the room leaving the animals staring after him relieved.
This is why throughout the decades the wolf has popped up occasionally but has never stayed long.
