Celia couldn't believe what her husband just did. It's been years since Rebecca, or how the other call her Bex, and her have been all alone...well long, long time before Andi was born. She knew that that wasn't a good idea, neither her daughter knew that Ham would leave them alone together, taking with him Andi. It was just a day together, but seemed like a year.
"So, mom" Bex said trying to break the uncomfortable silence. "What you want to do today?"
"Perhaps reading a book" Celia said "Or doing my boring routine, as you would call it"
"Very funny" Bex said with some sarcasm "I was hopping we could do something together"
"I don't think we can find something in common" Celia said coldly "Ham insisted that we should try to have more time together"
Henry, or more know as Ham, took Andi for a fishing day with him. Both decide to help Bex and Celia to improve their relationship. It seemed like a great idea, but both one day would need to talk to each other and fix things. Bex and Celia stayed in far points in the couch.
"Do you want to see a movie then?" Bex asked looking at his mother
"Why not we watch the movie of the mother who left her own child for thirteen years" Celia crossed her arms
"You are bringing this back, aren't you?" Bex stood up as her mother did "I'm trying to be a good mother for Andi"
"Like when you left her with us?" Celia asked "I'm afraid that Andi might get in bad influences"
"I'm trying to help her. I know that I hadn't being the best mother for Andi" Bex cried "And I wish that you could being a support and at least encouraging to me"
"How can I support you? You don't want to grew up and just stay here. Why don't you just get out and grow up" Celia yelled
"Well, if I decide to stay here...it would be when you're gone" Bex yelled back before going out and closing the door.
Celia's heart began to broken, she finally realize how far their words had gone. She love Bex, she love Andi and worry about them. Her thoughts began to make her remember the day Bex run off away, thirteen years ago...leaving her with Andi, her only remember of her. She tried to call Bex, no answer. She went outside desperately looking for her daughter, there was no sign of her. Celia sat in the couch and began to cried, she lost Bex again.
"Mom..." Bex slowly walked after she have closed the door. Suddenly Celia ran to her and embrace her with tears
"Never go away like that, please stay" Celia cried. "I didn't meant that, I worry about you...and I always going to be proud of you, and being your mother"
"I'm sorry about what I said before" Bex began to cry "I guess I never appreciate you and how you have tried to continue things"
"I guess we have been fighting over who would be Andi's mom" Celia sobbed "without realizing that both can be her mother figure"
"Still want to see that movie?" Bex joked
Both, mother and daughter, stayed at the tv watching a couple of movies together. Bex fell asleep in Celia's arms, who kiss her forehead. Andi and Ham returned hopping to do not see Celia and Bex trying to kill each other, and they smile watching them sleeping together while the movie continue.
"It work, Pops, it work" Andi smiled watching Celia and Bex "I guess that they have finally solve their differences"
"Not quite" Ham said "They still need more time, I guess we will have another fishing trip together"
"Sure" Andi chuckled.
