Author's Note: Wow, another new poem. I'm kinda amazed with myself. This has to be the most active I've been on the site in years.
I'm going to love you until I grow old.
I know you probably won't share my feelings.
You glares can make me feel cold.
But your smiles can leave me reeling.
I'm never going to leave your side.
We'll always trust each other,
Even if we've ever lied.
Even if I work for your brother.
Sometimes I wonder if we're supposed to stay apart,
Even if we're this near.
You lead me through the dark,
And I, I helped you through your tears.
I'm glad I know you, Rukia, I am,
And I think you're glad you know me.
We'll be close for as long as we can,
I as Renji Abarai, and you as Rukia Kuchiki.
So, this Christmastime, when you're alone,
Know that I'm not far.
Heart is where the home
Is, or something like that. Aren't
We a matched pair, you and I?
Because some days, when we think we're loosing,
Even when we want to cry,
We're winning.
I love you, Rukia, always have.
And that's the way it should be.
So on Christmas morning, when you see a poem under the tree
Know that it is my gift to you, because I figured out that you love me.
