I wrote this story just off fresh so be prepared for incorrect spelling and error. I feel like my writing improved by some 0.01% and I appreciate all foul words directed at my face. Please don't throw physical items though.
Gakuen Alice is not owned by me in any way and by Tachibana Higuichi while the content of the storyline is aside from the use of character's names, and/ or places that are from Gakuen Alice.
'Hotaru always told me to never go out at night and being Hotaru, I never asked why afraid she would smack upside the head.
Of course, this proved to be one of the most smartest achievements I had done according to her, but in truth I still didn't get why.
She warned me many times and threatened to leave me if I disobeyed her and it shut me up before I even got past the thought since me and Hotaru were never separated from each other.
This was a proven fact, seeing as our names were always accompanied by one another no matter the circumstance whether it was Mikan and Hotaru or the other way around.
Hotaru preferred it the other way and being the "simple minded idiot" of our village, I followed her decision everywhere it lead.
The consequences of not were high indeed for those who challenged my best friend were shamed heavily from talent wise to money wise and of her specialty which happened to be the worst was mentally.
However, fearing her was the best trait she had received excluding her blackmailing gene.
No one messed with Hotaru Imai and this became a common tact for any person, be it smart or dumb.
Needless to say, Hotaru was pleased with this and said nothing more than the less as usual. Although, I wished she'd be more willingly to talk even now.
Sometimes she'll stare straight through me or pretend she didn't hear me. She stopped using her violent methods when I broke her favorite deer hoof invention when she had overused it on me when I had defied her greatly by telling her straight up and down, I wouldn't listen to her when I had been frustrated to a bad extent over an awful mood one evening.
To say meeting Hotaru was different from knowing Hotaru could be as silly as to say that statement was almost totally true if she and I didn't have such a tight bond.'
I scribbled in a picture of me holding hands with Hotaru at the bottom in a background scenery filled with cute, fluffy clouds and a dazzling bright sun full of smiles behind it and sighed dreamily at my work.
I reviewed the writing and knitted my eyebrows together when I realized how sloppy I did and this time released a big yawn out of my mouth when I flashed my eyes back toward the clock.
I decided I'd hit the night for today and dropped my sketch pad by the counter and flicked off the fluorescent light bulbs I received from our neighbors to help economically save the Earth and dispelled back to my dreams, continuing from where I had left them off from this morning in the small garden located far beyond here together with Hotaru.
