Darkness of the Heart
It is so cold here
No warmth
Not light
An unwavering darkness.
threatens to steal my life
The only thing left is to fight
But the strength I once knew is fading fast
I am not who I was
nor who I am
My strength wanes at last.
Into darkness, Into darkness I fall
You see me
but I do not see you
You hear me
but I can not hear you
I have strayed and now I am lost
I reach out
I must save you from myself whatever the cost
You break the darkness
you are light
you are warmth
How could I have not seen it from the start
I must change
But how?
