Ok… so this is for Hunter of Artemis 11 Contest I hope you like it.

My cousin Lizzie Devine is coming over for dinner tonight. She gets on my last nerves. Lizzie never stops talking about Nigel. It was around six o'clock and the doorbell rang. Rose jumped up and ran to the door.
"I got it!" She yelled. I walked to the archway of the kitchen. Me and my dad were cooking his famous steaks. Rose opened the door to revile the most annoying girl I've met in my whole life. Lizzie was wearing this ugly shade of yellow tank top and blue jeans with the same shade of yellow shoes. I rolled my eyes and went back to the kitchen.
"She's hear." I whispered placing backed potatoes in the microwave. My dad grinned. After ten minutes we were at the table eating. After we ate we went up to my room.
"I think Nigie…" I tuned out after she started talking about Nigel. It was around ten o'clock and Lizzie went home. Rose put on a movie and I put popcorn in the microwave then went to the bathroom. The only thing I don't like about this house is that all the bathrooms are up stairs. My mom was outside reading on the porch swing and my dad was upstairs in his room. I got out of the bathroom and went to my room for some of my secret stash of candy when the fire alarm went off. I thought it was just a shortage and looked around my room. A fire truck pulled up and I began to get worried I ran out of my room. The stairs was collapsed so I panicked.
"Noah! Come with me." My dad said. He pulled me to my room and broke my window. The fire fighters notice us and pulled the safety net underneath my window.
"Jump." My dad said. I looked down and got scared.
"I'm scared." I said.
"It's going to be ok." My dad said I gave him a hug and he tossed me out the window. I landed in the safety net and rolled to the ground. I looked up at my dad he was about to jump from the window but a beam fell on him.
"Daddy!" I yelled. Rose and my mom were by the fire truck crying. The house fell down and I ran to my mom and gave her a hug. A firefighter came up to us.
"I'm sorry, your husband died." Rose and I buried our heads in our moms shoulders and cried.
"Do you know how the fire started?" My mom asked.
"We believe it was the microwave. It had a shortage when it was last use and was beginning to spark." I looked up I was the last to use the microwave. I began to cry harder when I saw sector V running to our house.
"Is everyone ok?" Kuki asked running up to me. I shook my head no and they pulled me and Rose into a hug.
"Our dad died." i whispered into the hug. They pulled us in tighter. Even Wally gave us a little hug. I knew I would get through this with the help of my family and friends.
