This is my first Azumanga fic so please read and tell me what you think?
Discaimer: I don't own any Azumanga stuff. You know what i mean.
Clock Stop
Chiyo skipped into her classroom. Everybody was there.
"What? Am I late?" Chiyo asked worried.
"Yeah, by like 2 hours!" Tomo answered. Chiyo's face dropped to the floor.
"But I'm always on time!" Chiyo cried.
"Well today you aren't!" Tomo said slapping Chiyo's back.
"But it's only 8:00 am!"
"It's 10:00" Osaka said awakening from her sleep.
"But… but… how?"
"Guess!" said Tomo.
"An evil clock monster changed all the clocks in the world except yours so you'd be late." Osaka guessed.
"Not you Osaka! I meant Chiyo." Tomo said shaking her head.
"Clock monster?" Chiyo said slightly frightened.
"There is no clock monster." Interrupted Yomi.
"But Osaka said so."
"Don't believe anything that comes out of Osaka's or Tomo's mouths."
"You don't believe in the clock monster?" Chiyo asked Yomi.
"No and nobody should either."
"Then why was I so late?" Chiyo asked wanting to know the truth.
"Take one guess and then we'll tell you." Tomo said getting back to her game. Yomi just rolled her eyes.
"All the clocks in my house died?" Chiyo said taking a stab in the dark.
"No but close." Tomo said encouragingly.
"Then why?"
"It's… I forgot what it is called." Tomo said looking around for help.
"Hopeless." Yomi said shaking her head. "It's day light savings."
"Day light savings?" Chiyo asked around. Everybody just nodded. "That's today?"
"Yes." Sakaki answered.
"Then how was Osaka on time?"
"Her parents must have changed all the clocks in their house." Sakaki answered again. Everybody looked back over to Osaka. She was snoring. Everybody just laughed.
