"On November 2, 1983, don't get out of bed. No matter what you hear, or what you see. Promise me you won't get out of bed."

You think about what he said for hours afterwards. The only response you could come up with at the time was a simple "Okay" … because what else could such a plea elicit?

And that's exactly what it was. A plea – a very desperate plea from a very desperate man. Yet, you didn't understand why. Why that date, why ask it of you?

But you couldn't just ignore him.

And you couldn't forget it.
