So… I have 1, 521 words for the fifth chapter of HTTYC. I was thinking of just posting the first chapter on Thanksgiving and posting the next one on Christmas, and then the third one Valentine's Day, then the fourth on the fourth of July, then a steady one month update starting July 21 from then on out…
BUT! I will post another one shot cause I feel like it, and I have a good idea (no character death this time!) Anyway…
Enjoy!
The Sock Thief
Lucy could not find her sock. She looked in the sock drawer, the clothes drawer, the undergarments drawer, her closet, under the bed, on the floor, on the ceiling fan (you never knew with Natsu), she pestered Natsu and Gray about it (definitely NOT Erza, although she is a possibility), looked in the fridge, hell, she even looked in the toilet.
"Where the hell are my socks?"
She needed those socks, otherwise her outfit wouldn't match, and she'd have to change it, and her hair, and her makeup. It was hard to be beautiful. She silently zoned out as she preened her good looks in her head.
Blonde, silky hair, check. Innocent, sparkly eyes, double check. Perfect smile, check. Large breasts, definite check. Skinny stomach with wide hips that flare out, check. A nice butt… she craned her head back, smirking. Checkaroo. Long, skinny legs with some muscle showing through, yep! Cosmetic choice is sublime, along with the outfit… except no socks…
She sighed, exasperated.
"May as well sleep for another hour before Natsu barges in, that insolent fool," she ranted, clicking her bedroom door closed behind her, locking it. It's not like they'll even come through the door.
She slipped out of her shirt, preferring to sleep just in her bra for the time being, considering it was summer. She stared down at the bed sheets, reached to grab them, but stopped. There were her socks.
But…
Happy was wearing one of the socks like a cat in a stocking, adorable to look at. He was sleeping peacefully, smiling in complete and utter bliss. But that wasn't what caught her eye.
Carla was in the same position, holding his hand across the minimal gap that separated them, smiling as wide as he was. She muttered, "Happy," under her breath, blushing.
The blonde smiled down at them, smirking evilly as she pulled a camera lacrima out of nowhere. She snapped a picture, hurriedly throwing her shirt back on and grabbing her keys.
Mira's going to have a fit over this…
A cute little one shot. It is finished, after thirty minutes of little thinking, it is done!
