Chapter 1: Goodbye
Fujitaka looked at his eight year old daughter and smile. Sakura looked so much like her mother that died two years ago; it just had to make him smile. After her mothers death Sakura became really sad until her friends cheered her up. Fujitaka cannot help but to smile when she laughs, but he could tell that she still got sad sometimes but she always seemed to over come that fact. Sakura just kept on smiling to everyone and believed in the good in peoples hearts in her little naive way. That's why he hated to send her away but he had to keep his promises.
"Sakura can you come here"
"Ya dad coming" Sakura raced inside and hugged her dad "hope you had a good day daddy, mine was so fun all my friends and me went swimming and eat candy"
"Sakura do you know what day it is next week?"
"Of course it's my ninth birthday" she smiled up to her dad and hugged him again "did you plan anything special for me daddy?"
"Sakura, do you remember what we promised your mother" Sakura looked down and shook her head. "Well on your ninth birthday we are supposed to be sending you away to train to take leadership of this clan. You see although your mother loved you dearly she believed that you were to naïve to lead this clan and so she wanted you to leave everyone including me to train to become a proper leader."
"B…but daddy I don't want to leave I promise to become a good leader here please" as tears fell from her eyes "I don't want to leave you please I love you so much please don't make me be alone"
"Sakura don't cry" he wipes her tears away "you know to become a good leader you have to be stronger in a different way then what I can teach. So, please don't cry and do you really want to go against your mothers dieing wish. I love you with all my heart if there was any other way I would keep you here you understand right? And I promises you may return when you are sixteen."
"Okay daddy I will follow your wishes" I will become the strongest leader our clan has seen and will not let anyone ever see me weak again!
The days past and Sakura told all her friends goodbye she cherished every moment she had with then before she left, she never cried when she bored the plane
