-----------------------------------------------------

Willow Rosenberg stood in the courtyard staring at the vast building before her. She thought Sunnydale High was big, but this place was huge. College was going to be a whole new experience. At least she had Buffy and Xander there to turn to. "Well I know the first place Willow wants to head to," Xander said smilingly behind her. Buffy laughed. "The library," she finished his thought. Willow turned around with a grin. "Well since we blew up the high school library, its time to check out the new territory."

Buffy took her sunglasses off. "I just don't want to get lost in this place. Fighting vamps and demons is one thing, but college is a whole new playground." Xander smiled as he always did to lighten the mood. "But at least there are those wild college parties to look forward to!" Willow rolled her eyes. "Ooh, stupid people getting drunk, and stupider and more obnoxious. Sounds like loads of fun to me," she remarked with a sarcastic tone.

"Willow, nice to see you're in focus, after." Buffy said absentmindedly. Willow looked down, slightly frowning. Buffy stammered, and then reached for Willow's shoulder empathetically. "Sorry Will. sometimes I speak before I think. I didn't mean to bring Oz up." Xander gently rubbed Willow's back. "I know how tough it's been Will. But we're here for you." Willow looked up at them, and slowly smiled gently. "Thanks guys. We had to deal with so many things this summer. I just need to do some work and study to clear my mind, so I'm looking forward to this."

Willow's gaze slowly focused on a blonde girl that was walking by. She had never seen her before, but she seemed so familiar. Something drew her towards her. She felt some power coming from her. "Who's that? I've never seen her before."

"I guess she just moved here. Looks kind of like a Cordelia wannabe," Buffy remarked. Xander whistled lightly. "She's a fox. I just might go after that one." Xander looked around, and saw a few other guys stare at this girl as she walked by. Buffy laughed. "Well the pack seems to be forming."

Willow's eyes were glued to this mysterious girl. There was something about her. The girl paused slowly, and hesitantly turned around. Her gaze met Willow's and they both stared for a few awkward seconds. The girl walked towards Willow, trying to act nonchalant.

"Hi there, I'm Sabrina Spellman! It's nice to meet you. I just moved here from Idaho." Xander laughed slightly. "Like the potatoes! I mean. um. uh." He stammered a few more times, before Buffy put her hand on his back. "Smooth Xand. Smooth."

Sabrina extended her hand, and Willow gleefully accepted. "Hi, I'm Willow Rosenberg. Pretty much lived here my whole life." Buffy shook Sabrina's hand, and replied, "I'm Buffy Summers. Pleased to meet ya!" She pointed next to her. "This is Xander, the town gigolo." Xander jumped slightly, and faked a laugh. "Buffy, you're so funny. She's funny isn't she?" Sabrina giggled. "It's nice meeting you guys. Maybe I'll see you around." With that, she turned around and headed off into the crowd forming in front of the student schedule board.

Xander blushed slightly. "She is something alright, isn't she?" Buffy waved her hands in front of his face. "Hello. Earth to Xander, come in!" Willow stared at Sabrina from a distance. Xander was only half right. Sabrina was something. Something else.
