Hail Sithis
A poem for the return of the Dark Brotherhood
Hail Sithis, my brothers!
The time now is nigh.
The Listener returned,
Now the targets must die!
We shall spread out our shadow
Of death and despair
The fools still in hiding
Have right to beware
When the Mother, she whispers
In the Listener's ear
The name shall rebound
All around and bring fear
Sithis, the Dread Father!
Lord of the Void!
Even the Daedra,
Are wise to avoid.
The fear gnaws at all
Knowing they could be next
Siblings rejoice
when the dagger connects
The blade snuffs out the light
And the darkness creeps in
It swallows, consumes
All that was living within
Another poor fool
Who in death finds no peace
For the Night Mother calls,
There can be no release
No safety to they,
Who incur darkest wrath
The Sacrament's final
There's no other path.
But different are we
Who are agents of He
No fear we assume
From the shadowy gloom
For we have been chosen
To issue the blow
To end all of those
Who are doomed to below
In this we have pride
Never lost in the strife
Why cling to living
When death ends all life?
Now that the listener,
stealthily, arose
So does the brotherhood
Long thought disposed
In this the glory
Of Sithis runs red
The Emperor himself
Of all Tamriel dead
So when next the Black sacrament
By the Night Mother is heard
Hail Sithis, my siblings!
And fulfill her dark word!
