You're fighting through the Titan war, your best friend by your side. You were unstoppable, until you saw him. Your once-upon-a-time friend, that was hypnotized by Gaia into joining her. You can't bear to fight him, but you know you'll have to.

You see him walking over, his weapon stained with the blood of your fallen comrades, and you know that you will have to defeat him. He runs over, and your fight begins. Metal clangs against metal, warrior against warrior. It seems as it will go on forever, when your comrade-in-arms stabs him in the back.

You go wild with fury. You can't believe your friend just died. You charge the opposing armies, killing any monster or demigod that gets in your way. You seem invincible, until you are felled by a greater foe. You couldn't even tell who did it, you were so wild with fury.

But at least you'll find peace at last in the Underworld, even if you don't make it to Elysium.

Your spirit floats along the Styx, already having paid Charon's fee. You don't know what is going on above, but you desperately want to.

You feel hatred burning inside you, for whoever murdered you. You're angry at the gods for claiming you and bringing you into the war. But you fight the feelings as you walk through the gates, waiting to be judged.

You see Tartarus, calling to you, tempting you to end your sadness and join its ranks. But you know that you have to move on, and be rewarded, or punished, by the judges of the Underworld.

The judges start showing flashbacks of your life, like a time warp.

You see yourself doing battle training up on the holographic flashback, with your friends. You miss them dearly, and at times you felt like a madman with depression.

You wish you could relive those moments when you were happy.

You feel small, almost invisible, with the judges scrutiny upon your soul. But their scrutiny lifts guilt and worry off your shoulders.

It feels like you are a spy, following yourself through your life when watching those flashbacks.

You don't know how much time has passed since you've seen the sun.

Eventually you start to feel hollow inside, like your memories are being stripped away.

And then you see it. The moment that changed your life for the worse.

The monster that took your friend was stalking you right outside the borders to camp. You hadn't been claimed yet, and you were trying to bring your friend to safety. Right before you could drag him across, the monster shoved you and ran of with your friend, then proceeding to stuff him in his struck. That is the moment you didn't care about anything anymore.

You then realize that your judging is over. You've achieved Elysium. You float over, as spirits do, and you see you friend there. He's at an Elysian party, dancing like nothing is wrong with the world, and you join him.

You lock eyes, knowing no words are necessary. But you speak, just so you can hear your own voice one last time, "Everyone deserves second chances."

So together you walk over to the Lethe, ready to be reborn. Holding hands, you jump in together, no regrets.

Let's do the Time Warp again
