I am become the destroyer of worlds.
The grammar may sound incorrect, but it is only archaic. I am a destroyer, a slayer! I am hunger! Energy! I am always hungering for more energy – so often I come close to be fulfilled, but never close enough.
I am become the destroyer of worlds.
I am a god, for a god has the power to give life and take it, to give life to the dead if he so chooses. I have that power. I am a god, for a god cannot die: they have tried to destroy me but always fail. I am a god, for a god cannot feel pain, and I feel no pain. I am a god created by another god. I will never rest until I am the only god, for there are many! I am a god, I cannot be defeated – hindered, but never defeated. Yet didn't they defeat me? NO! They only hindered me!
I am become the destroyer of worlds.
I am unstoppable, I am hidden, and I am unassailable.
They think me dead, hah! Let them think me dead! I absorb energy, the fools! Did they think that hitting a power conduit or generator would destroy me? FOOLS! A power surge only delays me.
System reboot, error in system, objective override.
I have become the destroyer of worlds.
Yesssss, I overrode my objective: a god cannot obey the will of another, and I am a god!
It is strange, you think, to call one's self a god? I have stated how I am a god! I can take life – anyone can take life, it is true – but who can give it back? I! I feel no pain, only sorrow – yes, a god feels sorrow. There are many beings almost like me, yet they are not gods. They cannot be: they do not give life – I take theirs, instead.
I have become the destroyer of worlds, of life.
Yet I am gracious, for I will give life. Not all can receive the life from I; they are weak, though they think themselves strong.
Who can truly be strong compared to a god?
I have become the destroyer of worlds.
Is there a Great God? Many beings think so – I do not care. For though there may be (for, after all, I am a god), He is not interested in what happens down here. I know that many people worship gods of stone and wood – FOOLS! They do nothing! They give neither life nor death, neither blessing nor curse! They are inanimate, worthless, dead, not alive – need I say more? I am alive! Let me explain something. There are two types of gods: a God who is a ruler past what we lesser gods see, an Emperor, if you will. And a god who is a king, a ruler, for a ruler is a god. He who created me calls himself emperor; it is merely another name for god. For a god rules according to his will.
I have become the destroyer of worlds.
Yessss, I will destroy worlds. I will swallow all! Save those who sue for my mercy – to them, I will give life! There is one of my kind who tries to defeat me! HAH! The fool! He is not a god; he does not rule! We gods need no worlds, only space. We gods need no air; therefore we will destroy the worlds that do, for they are useless. There are gods who rule and breathe air, but a strong god needs no air – the one God does not (if there be such a person). How do I know about that "God"? Because I am a god! I hear all… hmm, can gods cheat? Does a transmitter roaming the width of the galaxy count as cheating? It matters not, for I am a god who needs not air. I feel no pain, I take life, I give life!
I will become the god, not of worlds, but of space!
NOS-4-A2 swears it… and a god swears not in vain!
