I've finally gotten around to posting it! This is the official Mary Sue story. It contains spelling and grammar mistakes, Mary Sues, Gary Stus and impossibly perfect situations. Please note that it is entirely intentional, and is the promised result of "Mary Sue and Gary Stu: How It All Began", which I suggest reading first. Flames won't matter much, as this story is merely meant to show what NOT to do.

Ok. Here I'll just point out a few things:
1. Your story must actually be longer than your author note- And if you have an author note at all, please don't put you having a conversation with another part of yourself, eg:
Open SaysME: Oh lol I like that chapter
Me: OMFG me 2!!!!!11!!!!1
It just gives so much more ammo to flamers and whatnot, and we don't really read it.
2. Grammar and spelling- It drives me insane when people put the wrong "Their, there, they're", "We're, where, were" or "your, you're". Please make it a habit to go back through your work and, if possible, get a Beta.
3. Original storyline and characters- No one wants to hear about Eragon and a pretty little blonde falling in love and defeating Galbatorix again. Maybe it's time one of you made a male OC? Hmm?
4. Miscellaneous- people wont think your story is boring because people look, act and do things different to the rest. In fact, you're likely to receive more reviews for it. Think hard before you make a story; has anyone done it before? If so, how is yours different?
