Harry walked into the Great Hall. "Hiya Harry, want to sit with us today?" "No thanks Colin, I want to talk to Angelina." "Oh, ok." Harry bounced over to Angelina, grinning. "Hey Angie, guess what?" "Oh, hi Harry." Angelina looked up from her letter, obviously from her parents "What do you want?" "Malfoy's broken his arm. He's walking round crying with 'pain'. I think he's forgotten the final, because he's acting as if he's in no condition to play. I think we finally might have this one." "Ok, Harry, can you be down at the Quidditch pitch tonight for a practice, say, 4 o'clock? Its just I want to have a last minute practice, just running over everything. Ok?" "Sure"
Harry sat down in between Ron and Hermione and buttered himself a crumpet. Looking at Ron, who wasn't eating, he decided to give Ron something of a cheering up. "Hey, Ron, we have practice tonight, so do you want to go down early and have a ride on my Firebolt, see if you can keep better on it?" Ron's face lit up, looking the happiest in 3 days. "Yeah! Cool." Harry leaned across Hermione, her long hair tickling the back of his neck. He loved Hermione, but in a friendship sort of way. He knew he would never be able to do anything with her, not now, not ever ... "Harry, what are you doing?" Harry snapped out of his musings, to realise he was resting his head on her knee.
