Chapter 3
As I walked down the hall, I felt like I was being followed. Strange enough, I was right.
"Ok, well, that was fun," Abby said as she started walking in front of me. "But i would'nt want to do that again." I just nodded. To be honest, I didn't really care what she said at that moment. My thoughts was somewhere else.
Next thing I know, my phone was ringing. I stopped where I was and was about to grab it from my pocket when I got pushed.
"Move it! God you shouldn't be in peoples way." said a girl who looked 16 or 17. She had dark red hair and was averege height. She was tanned, skinny and utterly gorgeous I would admit. Her eyes were hazel and looked...well perfect! I just sat there in the ground, looking at her.
"Stare much bitch!?" she said as she started to walk off with her little possy that wasn't really noticable much. It took me time what she had just said to me when Abby spoke out.
"You're one to talk. Maybe you should stop being a heartless bitch and at least say your sorry. Melanie didn't do anything to you!" The girl stopped and started walking towards us. People started to stare at the scene.
"You know what bitch! If you don't like it, get the fuck out of here then," She looked at me and gave me a I'm-so-better-than-your-worthless-ass look, "Melanie, get used to the real world." She started walking off again. "That hoe is dumb Britney." I heard one of her possy's say to her.
I got up and started jogging outside in the heat. My first day at school and already I'm getting picked on. Abby followed as I sat down under a old but comforting oak tree.
"I'm sorry for what happened." She said as she sat down next to me. I stared at her and I started to cry. "I'm not really the kind of girl who's good in these situations. But thanks for standing up for me. Your a good friend." I said while I wiped away the tears and trying to fix my makeup. Abby laughed and we just sat there. I grabbed my phone and said in a quite voice that was more than a whisper,
"I almost forgot my phone." I turned the screen on and got a voicemail. I put it on speaker and listened.
"Melanie, this is aunt Lola, I just wanted to tell you, your brother might arive at school today. I just picked him up from the airport and we're on our way. He says hi by the way. Anyway's I gotta go. I just wanted to let you know he's here." The voicemail ended and I turned off my phone.
"You have a brother?" Abby said surprised. I looked at her and started laughing. "Yeah. His names Matt and he's a sophmore, just like us. But he's 16." While I said this, Abby's eyes got bigger. "Is he cute?" I laughed and started walking back inside the school building while she followed. My brother's coming home...
