The Planet of Awkwardness
The Doctor had set the TARDIS to random mode. It chose a random pair of coordinates and would take him there. The cloister bells boomed and he ran to the door. It looked sort of like Earth, but different. Something was…off. He looked around. There were no people around.
"Great, another one of those planets," he said to himself aloud. He went up to a house and knocked on the door. It opened just a crack, and he saw a flash of blond hair. "No, it couldn't be," he said.
"Hello? Who's there?" said a girl. He knew that voice. He knew it well. Rose Tyler opened the door. The Doctor almost passed out. She was enormously pregnant.
"Rose! You're all…elephanty," he said nervously. She walked out of the house, and never said a word. He heard another door opening, and turned to see Martha walking out of a house, also hugely pregnant.
"What the heck is going on here!" he said. He started to freak out. Other doors opened, and he saw a very pregnant Amy walk out of a door, a waddling Donna step out, and, a very young Sarah Jane, also huge. He stared at all of them, not knowing what to do or say. Another door opened, and River stepped out. She was also insanely pregnant. The Doctor backed away, but more doors kept opening up. He saw Romana, Ace, Mel, and Harriet, and even Susan! They were all young and pregnant. Soon, every female companion he had ever had was slowing walking towards him. It didn't matter if they were dead or not, they all were there. He felt very embarrassed around pregnant people, they made him feel nervous. He kept expecting all of them to pop any second. If they did, he would be forced to help. Soon enough, his prediction came true. Rose was the first one to go. She let out a yelp, and the Doctor ran to her, not knowing what to do. Not long after Rose, everybody was screaming.
"I can't take this anymore!" yelled the Doctor, "I'm leaving this planet!" And with that, he got in his TARDIS and flew away. He decided to visit River, maybe she could get his mind off of that horrible planet. He flew the TARDIS to stormcage. He found River in her cell, laying in her bed. She heard the TARDIS and turned around. She quickly took a belt off of her nightstand and put it on. She climbed out of bed.
"Hello Sweetie! What brings you here today?" asked River in a cheery voice.
"Well, I was just at the most terrifying planet ever. I landed, and then all of the companions I've ever had came out, and they were all nine months pregnant! Even you were there! Then, they all started to go into labor, and I left. It was the worst planet ever," said the Doctor quickly.
"Really, because I was just going to—" She cringed and held her stomach.
"What? What is it?" asked the Doctor. She was in so much pain, but the Doctor didn't know what to do. She managed to get words out.
"The belt," she said in between grunts. The Doctor quickly took off her belt, and her figure got really large. Her middle was huge.
"Oh no, not here too. What is wrong with these planets? Am I dreaming or something?"
"No, no this is real life. I really am pregnant, and I've been in labor for the past couple of hours," said River.
"What? Not again! I was just done with this! And since when were you pregnant? Why do you never tell me things? Nobody ever tells me things," said the Doctor, and he helped River into the TARDIS, where he would become even more embarrassed then the Planet of Awkwardness.
A/N: Thanks for reading! I just had this idea one day and decided to write it down. I thought it would be pretty funny if the Doctor felt uncomfortable. Write me a review! Every time you do, Steven Moffat considers River being pregnant just a bit more.
