DISCLAIMER: I do not own twilight or its characters. I'm not as good as Stephanie Meyer, the true owner of the twilight saga.
This is a one shot story of Garrett and Kate. It does have Breaking Dawn spoilers, so if you haven't read the book or if you haven't finished reading the book, I advise you not to read this story until you have read Breaking Dawn! The first chapter will be in Garrett's POV. I'm not sure if I will do a second chapter, but if I do then it will be in Kate's POV. And so on. And so on. This story is what Garrett thinks about Kate. It will have quotes from the book. So again I say to you if you haven't read the book. Then DON'T read this story. Ok that's all of my little information for you guys. I hope you enjoy the story!I was outside watching Bella and Kate practice. I found it a little interesting how Bella's power is a shield. But the person I couldn't stop looking at was Kate. She was from the Denali Coven, a coven like the Cullen's family, that doesn't hunt humans. At first I looked at them like they were crazy for not hunting humans, but the more I saw Kate and the more I learned about her, she made me think of nothing else but her. She was Beautiful, smart, strong, and that power of hers. There was just something about her that I can't help but like.
As we were all gathered outside watching Bella trying to put up the sheild, so it could cover both Edward and their daughter Nessie. It seemed like it was working when both Edward and Nessie couldn't see whatever Zafrina was trying to show them. I was barely paying attention to them; I couldn't stop looking at Kate.
I barely heard Zafrina tell us not to panic, but I still gasped with all the other ones that lost there sight to Zafrina's power. I suddenly felt very anxious and I bet that everyone else was just as anxious as I was, I couldn't see anything, and it was like I was in a pool of blackness. I could hear Zafrina saying, "raise your hand when you get your sight back." But it seemed like a wishper. I didn't know what was happening, and I don't know how long it's been, but the next thing I know I could see. I sighed in relief and raised my hand. I heard Zafrina compliment Bella, "very good, now—" but as I was watching Kate, I felt my eyes go blind again. I vaguely heard Zafrina say 'of course' but just like that I had my sight back. I kept looking at Kate. I couldn't help but be drawn to her. She was beautiful. And that power of hers. That just made the whole thing more fascinating. I wonder? "Kate" I called to her. I got up and walked towards her. "I wouldn't, Garrett," Edward tried to warn me. But it was too late. I was drawn to her. I kept walking towards her. "They say that you could put a vampire flat on his back." I couldn't help but ask. "Yes," she agreed with me. "Curious?" she asked with a small smile playing on her full lips. Damn even her voice is beautiful. Hells If I know ill probably get hurt. But I was curious. But not just about her gift. But about her. Everything about her makes me want to know her better. I had to play cool, don't let her know I'm interested. I shrugged. "That's something I've never seen. Seems like it might be a bit of an exaggeration…"
Authors note: I'm leaving this story here because most of you have read the book by now, and you know what happened. But like I said it's just a little one shot story that I wanted to right.
