UPDATE February 19, 2018 - Thank you WhatThe Hux, and Hireable Hitman for reviewing, and pointing out to me that Hux is supposed to be above Phasma in rank. I hadn't even realized that I'd put her above him until it was already posted. So thank you for the save.

Enjoy the new, revised chapter. ;)

Disclaimer: I don't own Star Wars.

"General Hux," A high-ranking officer called, beckoning him in his direction.

"Yes?" The ginger-haired general inquired, walking proudly with his arms behind his back.

"It appears that there was a slight technical glitch with where the first squadron of troops were to be deployed, and-"

In an instant, Hux's face twisted from calm, cool, and collected, to fierce, frenzied and furious.

"Glitch? What sort of glitch?"

"Well, I believe that someone may have almost mistakenly sent the troops to a planet in the solar systems that no longer exists. But you see, Captain Phasma-"

"Phasma?" he asked in astonishment, tilting his head at the lower officer in disbelief. "Unbelievable. Someone holding a record as exemplary as hers, you'd think that-"

"Excuse me, Captain?" the younger officer asked sheepishly, half expecting a scolding for the interruption.

To his surprise, the general managed to swallow his bubbling anger, and collect himself enough to listen. "Yes?"

"Had it not been for the Captain, the entire fleet may have been sent to a non-existent planet. It was her that caught the error in the system before it was too late."

Armitage Hux paused for a moment. He felt so stupid for ever doubting the frequently efficient silver-clad trooper. Especially since she was his go-to-gal whenever duty and...'other business' called.

"Is this information correct?" he looked down at the younger officer skeptically.

"Yes, Sir." the younger male nodded briefly.

"Good," Armitage said curtly. "Very good. Well then, Captain," he called, turning to face Phasma, the topic of discussion, who had just entered the hallway and had stopped to greet him with an acknowledging nod.

"I hope you continue to exhibit such excellent leadership skills in the future. Now, if you don't mind," he said, raising a suggestive brow and causing her head to incline towards him in a curious manner. "I'd like to have a little 'chat' with you in the briefing room..." he finished, shifting his uniform collar awkwardly and standing a little straighter.

"Certainly, General. About the next mission's orders, I presume?"

"You presume wrong Captain," he smirked at her. A suggestive, slinky little thing that told her it wasn't really another briefing, but one of their 'secret sessions' he wished to initiate. "but I don't think you'll protest to what I have in mind..." he trailed off.

Phasma said nothing in response, but seemed to know what he meant, because she gave her cape a quick tug, and walked off in the direction of the briefing room, a taunting way in her step.

A stormtrooper standing a ways off from Hux and the other officer started sniggering.

"Have fun at your 'meeting' General!"

"Oh, shut up!" Hux commanded, glaring at the trooper as he stomped off after Phasma.
