Just a short little story about Father's Day. Not the best but I wrote it quickly. Sorry

"Happy Father's Day!"

"What? Huh? What time is it?" Arthur shot up in bed after being prodded awake and then promptly screamed at.

"Quarter past 6. Mum told us to let you sleep longer but we were too excited to wait!" At the foot of the bed stood Bill, Charlie, Percy, Fred and George, all looking expectantly and their father. Fred and George were a bit too young to really get what was going on but they knew something special was happening.

Just then, Molly came into the room carrying a tray laden with all of Arthur's favorite breakfast food. She was a bit red-faced from the trek up the stairs. After depositing the tray on Arthur's lap, she quietly scolded her children for waking up their father. She wasn't really mad though. She had been ecstatic ever since finding out she was pregnant again. She really believed this one was going to be a girl.

One Year Later

"Molly I'm off to the office." Arthur came downstairs and picked up his cloak.

"But Arthur, it's father's day!" Molly exclaimed.

"I know but I really can't afford to miss any more work. We're behind as it is and having another child is expensive. Maybe it's about time we call it quits.

"Arthur Weasley! Do not speak like that, especially on a day all about being a father."

"Sorry Molly, I'm just stressed. I'll see you all later." Arthur kissed his wife and children goodbye and went off to work. As soon as he left, Molly began assigning jobs. "Bill, you go degnome the garden. Charlie, I want the living room spotless when your father comes home. Percy, make some cards. Fred and George, you two can help me wrap presents. I don't care what he says, I'm going to make this day special."

17 Years Later

"I know it's not much, but happy father's day. I've been saving this to give to you ever since our last trip to diagon alley. I would have gotten you more if I could leave the house."

"Don't be ridiculous Molly, I completely understand. I wasn't expecting anything what with the war and all. I just wish the whole family could be together for the day." Arthur glanced up at the clock that was always present in the kitchen. He shouldn't have said anything. Molly was beginning to tear up. There had been no word from Ron, Harry or Hermione for months. He Who Must Not Be Named was still out there, wrecking havoc on the Muggle and wizarding worlds. It was hard to be in hiding, feeling like they weren't doing enough to help.

15 Years Later

"Happy Father's Day! Come open the presents we got you!" Rose and Hugo excitedly pulled Ron down the stairs. They rushed him because they were supposed to be meeting Harry and Ginny for brunch in an hour.
"Ooh, I love it Hugo, I've always wanted a orange and maroon colored tie! It goes so well with my hair. How thoughtful of you."

Just then, Harry, Ginny, James, Albus and Lily flooed into the fireplace. As soon as Harry and Ron saw each other, they burst into laughter. Their wives soon followed suite while the kids looked on, confused. Harry, like Ron wore an ugly orange and maroon tie proudly around his neck.
