Carly didn't know why she was attracted to Sam. It could have been all those years spent together as friends. Her spending the night, changing in front of one another (hey they were both girls!) and especially the start of iCarly.
Carly didn't know if Sam would ever feel the same way as her. That all changed though when a the new girl from the apartment over walked by the group.
"Hey, did you guys see the new girl?" asked Spencer later as the three sat on Carly's couch.
"Yeah, she was kind-a hot," Sam said offhandedly. Carly, Spencer, and Freddie all looked at her as if she had grown another head. Sam didn't notice, though, she was to busy watching TV.
Carly knew than that she had a possible shot with her best friend. Now all she had to do was get up the courage to actually ask her best friend out. Hopefully she'll just need to give enough hints for Sam to ask her out…
As if that would ever happen. Sam was denser than a rock at times.
