I glared at the figures….HOW DARE THEY????
What do you do when the one you love is in danger?
My dead heart shattered at the thought of leaving.
When your daughter begs you to stay?
The venom built up in my eyes, so this is what it's like to cry….
When you know that when you leave, you will most certainly die?
My family looked at me with broken expressions; I dropped my face to the floor unable to meet their eyes
Where you are treated like an animal?
My body crumpled to the floor shaking with sobs
When you are starved?
My throat was on fire, I needed to feed so bad…
When you are beaten?
The figure loomed over my body, throwing punch after punch
Would you still protect the ones you love knowing that you will have to go through this?
