"Exorcists. We have decided to send you to a particular place in China in search of Innocence, but it will be tough, as there are no strange phenomenon or occurrences happening. Erm.. I would like to go too." Komui said one day to the Exorcists.

"Nii-san.. Why do you suddenly want to go on a mission with us?" Lenalee asked, feeling puzzled.

"There are some..personal reasons…" Komui said and fell into silence.

The Exorcists packed what they needed to bring and went to bed. The next day, they set off for their sudden mission. To find an Innocence which has been quiet all along. Soon, they reached a dilapidated, old house. Its paint was slightly peeling and could see gray patches everywhere.

"Ooh.. Scary. Just a forest in the middle of nowhere?" Lavi said, adding to the freaky atmosphere. "Oh shut up!" Allen said as he was irritated and kinda, scared.

"Let's go in." Komui said as he opened the door. The old, wooden door creaked as it opened. Inside that old house, they saw a bed…a soft comfy bed… Komui sat down and went into nostalgia. Deep nostalgia… "Let's explore!" Lavi was curious, and couldn't wait to find the Innocence.

"Nii-san! Matte!"

"Haha! Lenalee, faster!"

" Lenalee , Komui, stop playing and hurry in!"

"Coming oka-chan!" Lenalee and Komui said in unison as they ran into the house.

The house. This very house they were in. This very bed Komui was sitting on. Memories of childhood flooded Komui's mind. But he didn't know what Lenalee felt. "Does she feel anything?" Komui asked himself, but didn't have the courage to ask what Lenalee felt. To tell the others what the personal reasons are. To come back and have a feel of HOME.

What he didn't know was that Lenalee felt it too. The feeling of home. The home they once lived in before they went to the Black Order. Before the Akuma killed their parents…

"Nii-san…I think I know what personal reasons you were talking about…" Lenalee said unsure of whether she should tell her brother or not.

"Nii-san..Is this..Our home?" Lenalee asked, sheepishly.

"Yes…Yes Lenalee…Our home.." Komui replied, still feeling nostalgic…Those memories that reminded him of Oto-chan and Oka-chan…."OH MY GOSH! GUYS LOOK AT THIS!" Lavi exclaimed, and they hurriedly ran to the other room. Komui's room. The room where he slept. The room where he did his homework. His room. Allen ran in and tripped over something …

"A pen? What is it doing here?" Allen asked, furiously.

"Er…That would be mine." Komui said as he snatched the pen from Allen.

Lenalee nudged him in the ribs as if saying "Its okay, Nii-san." Komui understood and smiled at her…I very…Artificial smile.

"No Innocence anywhere…Hey Komui, ya sure this is the place?" Allen asked, thinking about what 'personal reasons' Komui might have.

"The truth for coming here was actually…" Komui wanted to say before he fell into silence.

"My brother just wanted to… Check it out." Lenalee helped Komui continue his sentence, knowing that he felt hurt and sad. This house reminded them of their parents. The Akuma…

They left the house soon after. Lenalee and Komui looked at the house and gave a slight nod as if saying " Goodbye."
