Put your self into this perspective.

You are blind and have been all your life. The only way for you to know what is going on is by hearing or feeling, but you have never been able to see and because of your blindness, you are unable to work and are poor, living on the streets of Jerusalem. You hear people passing by everyday, deep in conversation about current events, offerings, upcoming feasts, and what the Lord has done. They pass by and ignore you as you sit on the side of the road begging for money, food, anything that could help you to simply live. There had been good people in the past who had given to you, but those people came and have gone. You are starving, just like many other people in your country, but you never give up hope, however close you may come to it. So you sit there every day, begging and praying that someone would come and provide for you in some way, any way just as long as you get to eat. It's just any another normal day as you sit and beg like normal. People are talking and passing by you without notice even when you call out, begging for money, or anything anyone can spare. That's when the crowd seems to be overcome by a great, joyful sound. You don't know what's going on, but you hear people saying a single name. Jesus. Immediately you know who it is. You've heard all the stories about this Man. How He heals the deaf, the lame, and even the blind. Suddenly, hope starts to arise in you and you call out, just another voice among the crowd, "Lord, if You will it, please heal me!" Everything stops, or so it seems from your blind perspective, no one makes a sound. You start to think that the God Man, the One people were calling the Messiah, had left, had completely skipped over you and your hope starts to sink, but you hear footsteps coming toward you. You can hear the sound of a single person walk up to you. This person puts their hands over your eyes and says with a voice that was unmistakably God's thunder, "I will it, be healed." As Jesus, the Messiah, removes His hands from your eyes, you open them. What was once complete, hopeless darkness is now light. Bright light clouds your view and settles into focus as you make out the face of your Savior. Your jaw drops in amazement as you look around the crowd, taking in dozens of shocked faces a second. You feel tears starting to well up and you turn your gaze back to your Savior, who smiles and says, "My child, your sins are forgiven."

"T-thank You, Lord," is all you can manage to say back and you fall at His feet in worship, praising God and praising Him. The crowd erupts in cheer. This is the Son of God, you think. The Messiah has come, the Lord has been faithful in His promises! As you stand and look around for the first time more and more, all you can feel is complete happiness and you begin ti cry tears of joy. You can finally see!
