AN: This is my first Narnia fic.

This story takes place one or two weeks after the four Pevensie children leave Narnia in the first book.

Enjoy!

"I'm so bloody bored," groaned Edmund, staring out the window, where the rain was pouring heavily onto the beautiful glass. The four siblings sat together in the boys' bedroom, pondering what to do on this forboding rain day.

Peter sat on his bed, arms wrapped around his knees. "What do you propose we do, then?" he asked of his younger brother. Edmund looked up at Peter, rolling his eyes.

"If I had an idea, I'd have told you!" he snapped. His sisters glared at him.

Then Peter smiled, leaning over to his youngest sister. "What shall we do today, on this ghastly rainy day, Queen Lucy the Valiant?" he asked her regally, smiling as excitment lit up her young eyes. She pretended to ponder, and turned to Edmund, whose head snapped up at the sound of their royal names.

"I'm drawing a blank, my dear siblings. What do you think, King Edmund the Just?" she asked, a small grin playing on her lips. Edmund leaned back in his soft armchair, as if it was his throne in Cair Paravel. Following his actions, the children leaned back in their own chairs, looking like their royal selves.

"If it wasn't raining, I would've suggested we go hunting- then again, poor Lucy here can't stand dying animals. Remember Peter, and Susan?" Edmund glanced over at his older siblings. The children laughed quietly as they remembered one hunting trip in particular.

The Kings and Queens of Narnia smiled at each other, as they rode their magnificent horses through the thick woods, in pursuit of a deer.

"Let me take care of this, my brothers and sister," said Queen Susan, drawing her bow to its full length, aiming at the deer's chest. She let the arrow go, hearing the familiar whoosh of the arrow cutting through the clear air. The arrow struck its target- and Queen Lucy let out a shriek.

"Susan!" she cried, as the deer went down.

The youngest Pevensie leapt off her horse, taking her cordial out of her leather belt. "It's going to be okay," she crooned to the deer, pouring a drop of the mysterious red liquid into the deer's gaping mouth.

"Well, this trip was no good," grinned Edmund.

They all laughed at the memory- except for Lucy, who was blushing deeply.

"Queen Susan the Gentle, what do you suggest?" Edmund asked of his older sister. Susan smiled at the title. Suddenly, a medium sized beetle scurried across the floor. Susan- who was deathly afraid of all bug-like creatures- shrieked, and jumped up on her chair.

"Get rid of it!" she cried, as the beetle crawled closer.

"Let us dispose of it, my brother," said Edmund, pretending to take out a sword. Peter nodded, smiling. The two boys picked up the small creature, and let it outside. "Well, that was entertaining," Edmund smiled.

Susan thanked her brothers, and the continued pretending they were in a meeting in Narnia. "I suggest we explore the land of 'Down Stairs'," Susan smiled, getting up. Her siblings nodded, and they all ran down the wood stairs. "Let us go!"

After an hour of exploring the rest of Professor Kirk's house, the children returned to the boys' room, wondering what to do next. "High King Peter the Magnificent- what do you say we should do?" Susan asked regally.

"I say, my friends, we unleash an attack on the 'Down Stairs Pan Tree (Pantry)'," he said, laughing. His brother and sisters agreed with him, patting their bellies in hungriness. "Charge!" yelled Peter, and again, they thundered down the stairs to the kitchen, where a pantry was stocked with the finest food.

"Today, we feast like Kings and Queens!" joked Peter, holding up some crackers. The other children raised a fist, smiling. They were happier than they'd ever been.
