Hello everyone! I haven't updated for a while for a good reason.
I'm still outlining the next stories. It's very important.
This one is just a oneshot. It can be for, pretty much anything. But I decided it's TMNT. So, here you go.
Rated T for mention of blood and it's very tense.
DISCLAIMER: I don't own the turtles.
It all went wrong. How could it have gone wrong?
Thrum of the wheels. Patter of rain. Pain; throbbing, excruciating pain.
How'd it go wrong?
A hand laced with red streams. Skin split in a wide crack. Deep, deep crack. Spewing a steady river.
Pools form.
Pressure is applied, the hand turns a deeper red. The streams thicken.
"..Hang on….Hang on…" Words are lost in eternity. Black replaces reality. Flashes of city lights replace black. The rain pounds harder.
It's too deep. Won't make it. Can't stay awake….
Water. Rushing water into the parched mouth. Cold and refreshing. Sweat falls, breath hitches. Pain increases.
Hurts to swallow. Can't feel anything but pain.
Lights burst and dizziness grows. Eyes close, but the red still shows through.
How did it go wrong.
The hand is moved away. A cloth is pressed into the wound. A scream, dry and hoarse, The doctor ignores it. Keeps working. Wrapping the wound, the side. Red bleeds through the white. Pools slosh on the floor. Hand gropes for a holding. Finds another. Finds a hand.
"What went wrong?"
"Relax, calm down." Whispers, barely words, utter through the delirium. Then they are lost again to the mutter of the pavement and tar tires. Bumps groan and potholes yelp. More words. Rain keeps pounding. "I'm losing him!"
"No!" The word jolts. Eyes open and takes in too many lights at once. Too many colors. Eyes close and groan.
Too much pain.
"What did I do wrong? What did I..?" The barely muttered words fall to incoherent strings of sound. The wheels turn a corner and stop.
"..Can't be moved.." Eyes open briefly. Sees faces. Known faces. Can't remember names. Only faces. Good faces..
Sharp jab to the arm and the world starts to blur. Shapes distort. Pain recedes. Senses dull. Pain recedes..
I told you it was tense.
I didn't make a story for before, after, or who it is. So go crazy with that.
So.. you like-y? No like-y?
R&R everyone!
