It
was getting late and dark outside. I was supposed to be on duty 5
minutes ago, but I got carried away reading the poems I had written
back then in my childhood. I looked at the time and ran out my room
leaving the Academy to go on duty. I checked to see if I still had my
rod with me. I did. Oh, I forgot to mention! I am Ameki Hino and I am
the school guardian along with Zero Kiryuu,18 and Yuki Cross. Our
school has two classes: the Night Class (for vampires...shhh...it's a
secret) and the Day Class for average human beings. Yuki is also my
adopted sister. We have a lot in common like big brown eyes and long
brown hair. My family was attacked by a Level E vampire back when I
was only 11. The one thing that survived were me and my poems.
Somehow I got away, because someone saved me, a pureblood
vampire...
"Ameki!"
I broke out of my thinking bubble
and turned around to face a vampire and two ordinary school
guardians.
"Aido-senpai, Yuki, Zero..."
I was shocked
to see a dark liquid dripping from Aidos mouth. My eyes opened
wide.
"What....?"
"Aido was caught drinking a
Day Class students blood", Zero told me.
"Where's the
being?"
"She's with the headmaster getting healed",
Yuki informed me.
I was glad to hear
that.
(RUSTLE...RUSTLE...RUSTLE...)
I
pulled my black Artemis rod out and so did Yuki-except hers is grey.
Zero pulled out his gun.
"Hello."
It was
Kain-Senpai!
"We are so sorry Kain-Senpai", Yuki
apologized. I nodded. Zero just stared out into space.
"That's
okay. I understand...it is
your
job. Kaname-sama sent me here to find out what happened...which I
guess he already knows." he smiled.
His eyes were focused on
Aido.
"I'll take him back to the building. You guardians can
go."
We agreed and split up. The next day I was in the
headmaster's office with the Headmaster...where I learned something
new...
