The stars are out tonight, but you won't see them.
You're too busy dreaming.
You'll also miss the full moon.
As I watch you sleep, I wonder what you are dreaming about.
Slowly I turn away to the window and get lost in the night.
You must have woken up because I feel arms around my waist.
I smile and turn around to face you.
I stare into your eyes before meeting your lips in a kiss.
After I pull away and lean into your arms, the place I know I'll always be safe.
The arms of my friend, the arms of my equal, the arms of my lover.
