They stood, in the coldness of death, their fingers interlocked as if they no longer had bodies of their own. And in truth, they no longer had bodies, their souls were forever together.
-So what will the universe do when no longer does it have it's protectors?
-It will go on, my sweet, as all things do, in the constant cycle Pluto has set forth.
-Will time ever cease?
-No, until life and death, light and dark no longer fill the soul, and souls no longer are real, time will be eternal.

-Yes, it's so beautiful to experience it all, yet so lonely and sad to lose it all as well.
-She lives as the hourglass, never completely empty on one side before time turns over and starts again.
-Yes, and now, Sea Maiden, we must finish our journey to the land of the departed.

And so the two souls, their hands together, walked out of the darkness, and into the light, to embrace the new beginning, the new turn of the hourglass.
