Couple of the Month
It was the Saturday before school started. Kurt and Blaine were sitting at their usual table at the Lima Bean. There was music playing faintly through the speakers and there weren't many people in the coffee shop for a Saturday afternoon. The Lima Bean had a monthly 'drawing', so to speak. The drawing would tell you who the 'Couple of the Month' would be.
So, it was a really big surprise when Kurt looked up from staring at Blaine (he would deny it if asked), and saw a picture of himself and the man he had a huge crush on, seeing as the man in question was only his friend...nothing else...totally platonic. Above the picture was a plaque that said 'Couple of the Month' and below it was one that said; in big, bold letters, 'KLAINE!'.
However, right before he looked up, Kurt decided that it would be a good idea to take a swig of his coffee. So, as horrifying as it was, Kurt proceeded to spit the coffee that was in his mouth onto the closest thing it could reach-Blaine.
"Kurt! What the-?" Blaine bellowed before looking to his best friend and seeing the look of complete and utter shock on his face. He slowly turned his head in the direction Kurt's eyes were pointed and immediately understood his friends shock. The two did hang out a lot and Blaine would always stare at those pools of foam blue that were Kurt's eyes and-
"Blaine! I'm so sorry! It's just that it surprised me and the fact that they see it too, it just-" Kurt stopped mid-sentence after he had realized what he had just implied. It was too late, the damage was done.
"Blaine?" Kurt questioned when it looked like Blaine had just walked into a freezer and walked out with the same expression.
"You...you see us together too?" Blaine stammered.
"Y-yes I do. I-I didn't know you did!" Kurt squeaked out.
"Well, of course I do..." Blaine hesitated. Then, in a voice almost impossible to hear, "how could I not?"
But Kurt had heard it and was grabbing Blaine's hand and leading him out of the shop and onto the bench outside. Kurt grabbed Blaine's hand and locked their eyes together.
"Kurt Hummel," Blaine started, "Will you grant me the extraordinary honor of you becoming my boyfriend?"
"Took you long enough!" Kurt teased before grabbing Blaine's face in his hands and meeting their lips in the middle.
The kiss was everything both of them had imagined it to be. There was passion and want in it, yet it was soft and chaste at the same time.
After many kisses and short dialogue in between, Blaine looked at Kurt with a smirk.
"Your breath tastes like coffee." Blaine said.
"We've been over this," Kurt said with a seductive undertone, "you love the coffee."
