One day in a palace far, far away, the queen Kurenai had just finished a day of training with her two fraternal twins Neji and Hinata. Before Kurenai had become queen she was told that she could never have children. Kurenai had always wanted children to spend her extra time on, so she had gone to a local orphanage. She had spotted a young girl crying and a boy came to comfort her. The woman supervising the children had told her that their parents had past away in the past war and that the boy was very protective over his sister ever since. Kurenai very well knew that she could not separate them unless she wanted them to be depressed; in the end she adopted both of them. As far as Kurenai knew them, they had never left each other's side. Neji was Hinata's protector as she was his. If one of them fell the other would not allow them to hit the ground and if they did they would be the first come to each other's aid. They would train together strengthening each other's weaknesses.

"You are getting quite stronger," commented Neji to his younger sister.

"Thank you, but I will never be able to get as strong as you," replied Hinata.

Out of the two of them Neji was always the strongest.

"But you will if not stronger," responded Neji.

"You are both getting stronger," announced Kurenai.

Slash! A kunai knife was thrown and cut Hinata's arm.

"Hinata!" yelled Neji, "Are you alright?"

"Yes, do not worry it is nothing but a mere scratch, Neji," replied Hinata to her worried brother, while covering her wound.

"Neji take your sister in to the palace so she can get her wound looked at," ordered Kurenai.

"Right," responded Neji as he covered Hinata's hand that was covering her wound, "Let's go, Hinata."

"Right," replied Hinata and ran with her brother to the palace.

Once they were in the palace, Kurenai looked up in the direction where the kunai that hit Hinata came from and threw a kunai. A ninja jumped out from the tree.

"Aw I hope you wouldn't notice," announced the ninja. He was wearing a headband with the sign of the Hidden Mist Village with a mask that covered his whole face, but his eyes.

"What do you want?" asked Kurenai getting into getting ready to attack when the ninja was.

"I've told you what I want," answered the ninja.

"I've said it many times and I will say it once more; I will not allow you to lay a hand on my children and you will not get the land my family has entrusted me with," replied Kurenai.

"But I always get my way," responded the ninja, "This is your warning Kurenai," he threw a smoke bomb to the floor and when the smoke cleared he was gone.

"Guards! Guards!" yelled Kurenai.

Five Anbu Black Ops appeared kneeling before her. Anbu Black Ops wore masks to protect their identities, and had a tattoo of their village, the Land of Fire, as a symbol of honor, on their forearm. These ninja were the most skilled ninja in the land that have sworn there lives to protect the royal family.

"Yes, my queen?" announced one of the Anbu.

"I want you to double the security upon the palace. I want my children to be safe and harm not to come to them," ordered Kurenai more worried that ever for her children.

"Arrangements will be made about at once your highness," replied the same Anbu.

"You are dismissed except for you two," announced Kurenai and gesturing at the two Anbu on her far right.

Three of the Anbu left.

"Yes what is your wish, milady?" asked an Anbu.

"I want you to watch over my children and escort them to where ever they wish," ordered Kurenai.

"Of coarse your majesty," answered the Anbu.

"I do not want to frighten them so I will introduce them to you," announced Kurenai with a somewhat worried face.

"Yes of coarse," responded the Anbu.

"Let's go then," announced Kurenai
