Sonic In Elwood City

It was like anyday at the Reed house. Mom was on her computer, Dad was fixing dinner, D. W. was being a brat, and Arthur was stuck in his room doing 375 math problems. The whole thing happpened when the danger alarm went out all around their country. It was the sound that meant they were under attack from Robotnick's forces.
"AAAHHHH," D.W. ran all around the house, crying. "they're gonna get me!"
"Now don't panic, let's just all get together and..."
"And what?" Dad was interupted by Arthur running into the kitchen with the rest of them.
"And we'll have a look out side."
They had drills about this, they had to run to the gym of the highschool, where they had installed a basement. There, they would be harder to find.
Dad opened the door, and who but the SWATbots were there?
"DESIGNATION; REED FAMILY, YOU ARE UNDER ARREST FOR TRESSPASSING ONTO ROBOTNICK TERRITORY," one said.
There were three of them. they had no choise but to surrender, or so they thought. Suddenly they saw a blue flash run right by the door. the bots were still there, but they weren't moving. Then one by one, they slowly fell apart only to reveal the devistation of the war. Buildings were destroyed and dead bodies of soldiers were everywhere. But it seemed that the civilians were not killed. Hurt, but not killed.
"Oh my Gosh," Mom almost whispered as she covered the children's eyes.
The parents looked around until they saw the man that saved their lives, or should I say boy. there he was SONIC THE HEDGEHOG, the most known name when talking about this war. He was helping his friend, Bunny, destroy a huge "skyscraper" robot.
they ran to him, holding the children. "SONIC!!! SONIC!!!!!"
He turned around, "what!" he kind of seemed ticked.
"Take my children!"
He was about to say no, but then he saw their faces. faces he once knew too well. sudden emotions took him back to when he was as young as them. Saddness, and fear.
"Okay lady, but you have to do me a favor."
"SURE what!?!"
"You see that?" he pionted to a helecopter.
"Yeah,"
"they can't land to take civilians to safety until ole' 'scraper' here is gone." He took the kids in his own arms. "and I can't get a good shot at him when he keeps tracing my movements. I need a distraction."
"You can count on us,"dad soluted him.
Dad and mom ran close to the robot and sterted yelling, getting him to chase them.
Sonic on the other hand, gave the kids to Bunnie and jumped the bot from behind. going through its metal flesh. A sudden burts caused a title wave that knocked everyone down, except for the FREEDOM FIGHTERS, who had been use to these kind of things since day one. Sonic, though, was sent flying through the air,( honestly the kid needs to gain a few pounds.) because he was in the center of the explosion. the FF's ran to him. Sally checked his pulse, he was knocked out, for what it would seem like days, said Dr. Quack. And it did. He's still in a coma, after a week now.
The little kid, Arthur as we learned before, sat in Sonic's hosptial room, "C'mon, Sonic," he whispered," Wake up............."
Sonic started to stirr a little, then he opened his eyes, "hey, kid,"
Arthur froze, was the great SONIC THE HEDGEHOG talking to him????
