Chapter One: Awakening

Iris felt the ground shaking and heard a loud rumbling as the Mechanice core collapsed around her.

She was blinded by the metal dust surrounding her, and she reached out, calling for her love life, the silican Link.

"Link! Where are you?!"

A deep, rich voice called back.

"Iris! I'm coming!"

A purple hand grabbed her hand out of the blue and pulled her out of the dust storm, just barely saving her from a falling chunk of metal.

Link embraced her, and then everything was silent.

Iris was in a dream, spinning, like a helicopter propeller, but she wasn't dizzy.

"...ris..."

Iris looked around, but saw nothing.

"...Iris..."

Iris looked around one more time and saw nothing.

By then, she awakened.

Her eyes fluttered open, looking right at Link's face.

"Ah, you're awake."

She groaned as she sat up, rubbing the back of her neck.

"Where... are we?" She asked.

She looked around, and the entire place was devoid of any and all existence, with the exception of a lone door. Everywhere she looked, she saw the same thing: a seemingly endless landscape bleached the brightest of white. The only things that broke this rule was the door and fragments of what appeared to be remnants of a previous world.

"Well, it's hard to explain. But regardless, welcome to my domain, the infiniscape!"

"The infiniscape..."

Suddenly, a golden throne made entirely of the golden metal that is gold rose out of the white ground.

"For you, my queen."

It took Iris a while, but she realized she was in the ruins of an old castle.

"How do you do that?"

"It's easy. You just close your eyes and focus. The infiniscape will do the rest."

"Okay..." Iris closed her eyes and focused. She thought of an even larger throne than the one Link summoned. Like the other one, it rose out of the ground.

"Woah..."

"It gets even better. Open the door," he said.

"Okay..."

When she opened the door, she was greeted by a circular room with a velvet carpet on a cherrywood hardwood floor.

There were many doors in a hallway, leading to different worlds.

One was the way to pokearth.

Another was for Mario, one for Metroid, Another for The legend of Zelda, and one for Xenoblade Chronicles.

Finally, a blank door in between Xenoblade and Zelda was there, and the interior was just like the infiniscape they were in before.

Iris decided to recreate the Pokémon world in this other infiniscape, and started with creating the planet.

Iris was excited to be a goddess, but wasn't too overly excited.

Darkness surrounded her and Link as they went into the new universe.

A/N: I actually planned on writing this story a while back, I just only recently got around to it. Anyways, I'll be answering questions in the reviews via author's notes at the end of each chapter.
