Jade groaned. It was a HELL of a day emphasis on HELL. She didn't understand how things could spin so out of control so quickly. Beck and her had and argument earlier that day. She got a splinter. It took her 30 minutes to get the splinter out. Thank GOD for Cat. She was a really good friend. Cat stayed with her when she was going through a tough time... the whole time. She ignored Beck when he tried to say she didn't have to do that. She just hated days like this. She knew things would get better. They always did. It's just that when things went wrong it seemed like it was the end of the world. She didn't understand. It just didn't make sense to her. Beck had once asked her after another fight why she let something that ended in minutes bother her for days. Her response was, "you just don't understand" to which he replied, "Of course I don't understand because if I understood I wouldn't have asked the question" Beck didn't know about what it was like growing up for her. He didn't understand how insecure she was because she acted like a bitch most of the time. It drove Jade crazy when Beck didn't listen to what she had to say. One time... before Tori and her had become friends Beck had gotten on her case from making fun of Tori. She didn't say anything at first because she was too upset and if she didn't calm down she would rip his head off. At one point 10 minutes after Jade exploded saying "WHY DO YOU ASSUME I WAS THE ONE THAT STARTED THE DAMN FIGHT BETWEEN ME AND VEGA". Beck laughed but Jade didn't find it funny. He told her to calm down. "HOW CAN I CALM DOWN," Jade said, "I'M PISSED AS HELL" Beck didn't understand why it bothered her so much. He was such a male. It figures he wouldn't understand.
"Jade?"
A gentle voice cut through her thoughts.
"Hey," she said softly
"What's wrong babe," he asked her
"It was just a really bad day," she said
He sat down next to her.
"I'm sorry," he said, "I know what those days are like"
"Those days make me feel so insecure"
"You? Why would you feel insecure?"
"Because," Jade said, "I just feel... I mean... to... I mean-"
She was babbling and unable to form a complete sentence.
He cut her off with a kiss.
"Why did you say what you said earlier," she asked a few minutes later.
"I think It was because I didn't think. I was frustrated and I was upset and I just needed to cool down"
"I understand," she said, "I really do"
She felt better.
