Disclaimor- Nothing's mine but the story idea. I just borrow the characters from CBS haha.
" No way, Gil. It's not happening," Sara said, standing with her arms crossed.
"Aw, c'mon, Sara. please? It'll be fun. Promise," he replied giving her his best boyish grin and wrapping his arms around her.
" Gilbert Grissom, I am SO not doing this! You'll just have to do it by yourself.." she huffed, pulling out of his embrace. Grissom stood there, a pouty look on his face. He walked towards her, lowering his head and looking her in the eyes. He put on his best puppy-eyed expression, sticking out his bottom lip like a child. Despite her best efforts, Sara couldn't keep the smile from spreading across her face and laughing.
"Pweeeeaaaaaase? You promised you would..." he reminded her.
"Well now, who could resist such a cutie? And you're right, I did promise I would," she said nodding her head and giggling. Grissom beamed and grabbed hold of her hand, entwining his fingers with hers and then giving her a quick kiss.
"Yes! Ok, are you ready?" he asked anxiously.
"As ready as I'll ever be... oh my God I cannot believe I let you talk me into this. You SO owe me later" she replied, sighing a bit. He grinned at her and lead the way into the casino. They headed towards the back and up a large staircase, where they were met by a man standing behind a counter.
"Hi, there Dr. Grissom. Back again I see?" he said smiling.
"Hey, Tony. You know I can't stay away from this thing. This time, I wanted to share it with someone special though. I'd like you to meet my wife, Sara," he said.
"Very nice to meet you, miss. Gil here has talked about you quite a bit over the years," Tony said, shaking Sara's hand. At his words, Grissom blushed a bit and smiled at her shyly. "Got your tickets right here. Unlimited passes for the night for the two of you. Enjoy!" Tony said before walking by them. The two walked over to the lines and took their seats in the front. ' Front's the best since you can see everything' he'd told her. Grissom waved to Tony that they were ready to go and then turned to Sara, who was looking a bit nervous.
"Hey, I've been on this rollercoaster a million times and nothing bad's ever happened. It'll be worth it when it's all over. Trust me," he told her, giving her hand a reassuring squeaze.
"Always," she replied, squeazing his hand back as the Desperado took off down the track.
By the way, the Desperado is actually a coaster out here and it is amazingly awesome haha. Idk, just sorta popped into my head and wouldn't let me be so I posted it. Liked it? Hated it? Let me know ok? Thank you!
