Elecmon looked around the over crowded village and sighed. It was just too much work for one digimon to do. It was good that all the digimon would come back but that they all come back as babies all at one time was too much. Elecmon tried to complain to Gennai about it but all he would say was "All in due time my friend, All in due time." After the Digidestined had left, Elecmon had offered to look after the eight lone digimon. Agumon, Biyomon, Gomamon and Palmon declined saying they preferred to travel around the Digiworld and see all the old sights. Patamon, and Gatomon decided to stay with Elecmon but after a year or so had left. Tentomon wanted to stay with Gennai in hopes he might learn something so that when Izzy came back he could impress him with his knowledge. Gabumon had left. No one was quite sure where he was. After the bus had disappeared from view, Gabumon stayed by the lake for quite some time than just left. Elecmon was always keeping an ear open for news of the digimon, all of them in fact because for some strange reason he felt like he should. Like it was his duty to make sure all was well. When he had told Gennai about that, Gennai laughed and than told him it was probably because he was so protective of younger digimon witch was not surprising since that was his life. Look after the digimon. Which he should probably be doing right now, instead of loosening himself in his thoughts. "Elecmon, another egg is hatching. Shouldn't you be doing your job?" The voice jolted Elecmon out of his thoughts and looked up to see his human friend."Gennai, why are you here?" "Oh, is that the welcome I get?" Gennai replied laughing.
"Hello. Now why are you here? Any news from them?" Elecmon replied.
"You know how you are always whining about needing help?"
"I don't whine Gennai"
"Yes you do, but that's not the point right now"
"Than what is the point"
"I've found you a helper"
"Oh? Which digimon is it?"
"A human"
"Oh okay a human A HUMAN? Like from earth?" Elecmon (needless to say) was shocked.
"Yes, I managed to bring a child over. It was foreseen"Gennai than handed the shocked digimon a baby girl."Until it is 18, it will age digiyears after that it will age earth years"
"How do you know that Gennai?" Elecmon asked.
"Because I was chosen and brought over but I am too old to train her. So I want you to. You are reliable and won't let anything happen to her" Gennai replied.
"So you want me to look after her?"Elecmon asked again.
"Yes, I have to go now. New evil will rise but we must wait until the digidestined are ready"
Elecmon sighed. It seemed like all they ever did was wait for those kids. Oh well it could be worse at least for now things were somewhat peaceful. Gennai began to walk away as Elecmon called out"Wait what is the child's name? . And to that Gennai replied "Terra" and then left in a cloud of dust. Elecmon than looked around as the baby digimon began to crowd around the mature digimon holding the infant."Well at least I have some help now" And with that statement, Elecmon began to cradle the infant in his arms until the babe fell asleep.
