My first fanfic, so you can please understand its low quality and high lameness ;p This is just a short text about the avoxes, because I thought it'd be interesting. Please review if you like it! enjoy ;)
You're chosen tributes. You have no choice but to kill or be killed. If you choose to kill, you win, you will bathe with endless supplies of food -still under the control of Capitol, who can kill you whenever they please to. If you choose not to kill, you lose, you gave up your life.
You says it's not fair, for the Capitol to make you a pawn. You complains about your death that'll arrive in a blink of eye. All that comes from your mouth, while you eat the delicious, tasty meal. Us, in white tunics, serving you and your team foods and drinks. You didn't realize our presence, because we, back and forth, keeps your glasses full of wine, water and juices. We cleans anything you broke, any mess you made.
You're not supposed to talk a word to us, except orders. We're not supposed to answer, even if want to, because we can't. We are criminals, we are traitors. To the eye of Capitol, we are too dangerous to have a voice, we have no tongues. We live to serve the people of Capitol, we live to be theirs. We live in silence, our screams can't be heard, our pains can't be seen. We live to work, we live to do what we're ordered to. Our lives are in their hands. We are a living robot.
That's what happen when you become an Avox
Because of what you did, you didn't deserve to be an Avox. You ran away for freedom from the capitol, that's a crime. You tried to help a friend from being whipped, they call you traitor. Whatever small things you do that they don't agree, they make the whole country think you're a criminal.
You got beaten for a small mistake. Your blood doesn't attract their sympathy, they need entertainment, they want more tortured, they want more slaves, they want more deaths. You clean the floors to live in small rooms. You serve exotic meals yet are fed with awful stuffs. You listen to orders but never get to speak, not even once. You live a life, as if it is to die.
When we became an avox, we lost our lives. Just like you'll lose yours in the games
