Prologue: Green's Journal

"My name is Green Thunder. I am an assassin gone rogue with various Kai, or secret powers and skills. I am on the run, for I have a very large bounty on my head. Hmm… what's this? A sign? "Ponyville " I should setup camp there for a little while. Well, Next step, find a spot. (After looking for a while) Well, this is a nice area. Little perch. Open area. Nice. "

"Aah. Time to relax…" Green said before he heard…

"RSTRSTRTS" A loud rustling could be heard in a distant bush.

"Who's there?" Green bellowed as he drew his sword.

"Chill, guy, I just screwed up a trick." A cyan-coated, rainbow-maned mare stated while dusting herself off.

"Who are you?" Green replied.

"I am Rainbow Dash, the greatest flier in all of Equestria!" Rainbow boasted.

"Well I am Green Thunder, an assassin gone rogue from my squad, but I can sense you're an active Pegasus, so I won't bog you down with details."

"Well actually… I'd like to hear more about you."

"Well, it feels so nice to finally meet somepony who doesn't want to kill me." Green replied.

"I'd Invite you back to my place, so we could talk, but you aren't a Pegasus…"

"That's okay, I can fly. Just point to the direction your house is in, and I'll race you there!"

"Wha—How?" Rainbow questioned.

"I can perform 'Kai' which are basically awesome powers only us assassins can perform." Green answered.

"Alright, well you're on!" Rainbow stated as she pointed south-west, and into the sky. They both rushed off, and arrived at Rainbow's cloud-house within seconds.

When they got there, Green explained his entire story, beginning to end. Then Later…

"Well it's getting late, so we should probably get to bed." They both thought.

Only problem was, Rainbow didn't have a guest bed, or even a sleeping bag, so they both had to share Rainbow's regular bed… (Yeah, you can imagine how uncomfortable this is, both for me writing it, and the two ponies. XD) Once they got into the bed, a huge awkward silence fell upon the room.

…And then Rainbow yanked the sheets over to her side of the bed, with a mischievous grin.

"Hey!" Green shouted as he pulled the sheets back. They went back and forth and back and forth…until they both turned around then their eyes met. Their faces turned a blazing crimson as another awkward silence befell them…for what seemed like forever.

Eventually, they both fell asleep, but when Green woke up, he noticed they were in each other's arms. After about 10 minutes, Green had convinced himself that he didn't wake up Dash for privacy reasons.

…But that didn't last long, seeing as she woke up about 20 minutes after him.

"WAAH-AH-AH!" Dash shouted, as Green tried to pretend that he was surprised as well. Dash was freaked at the sight of nuzzling up against Green's pale green coat (And emerald green mane and tail.)

"So, uh… that never happened, right?" Green asked, and then Rainbow agreed…or so she thought.

"Or did it?" Rainbow asked, biting her lip.

"Well, uh…I mean… I don't…maybe?" Green had finally concluded. "This has got to mean we're at least friends, right?"

Rainbow then agreed to that, as well, and then Green let out a sigh of relief. He wasn't alone anymore. He had found a friend. An ally. Or, maybe even something more. They gave each other a friendly hug, then they flew (Well, Green decided to fall) back down to Ponyville to meet Rainbow's friends. Ya know, Twilight, Rarity, Fluttershy, Applejack, and Pinkie.

(Author Note: Well, there ya go guys, after like 3 weeks, I finally finished Ch. 1. Shout-out to my bronies at school, Justin, Alex, Jeff, Eoghan, etc. If I forgot your name I'm sorreh XD Don't expect Ch. 2 to be out within about 2 weeks, because testing's coming up this week and such.)
