Booster Seat
"Captain! Guess what? I learned something new about the world of the living!" Rangiku yelled running towards him while waving a piece of paper in the air.
"What?" Captain Hitsugaya said trademark scowl on is face.
"Well," There was a strange glint in her eyes. "You know how little kids have to sit in a booster seat until they're taller?" Uh oh. He thought, wondering where the conversation was going.
"Yeah? And?" As he thought over the possibilities his expression started to look a bit suspicious.
"Well," she drew out the word. "I was talking to Karin about how short you are.' A vein burst in his forehead. "And somehow we ended up on how tall you have to be to not sit in a booster seat."
What Really Happened
"Hey! Karin, right?!" Rangiku said running up to said girl.
"Yeah... Rangiku, is it?" Karin looked surprised to see her.
"Yep! You know how short Captain Hitsugaya is?' She looked rather excited about the conversation, confusing Karin.
"Yeah. Why?" She asked cautiously.
"Well, I was wondering… What's the height limit for sitting in a booster seat?" Rangiku smiled rather evilly.
"Four foot nine." Karin still seemed rather confused. The realization dawned on her face. "How tall is Toshiro?"
"Unfortunately… That exact height." She seemed rather deflated.
'That's too bad. He would've never rode in a vehicle ever again…" She trailed off also looking defeated.
"So, I guess I'll see you around…" She trailed off and ran away to go tell the rest of her division about her newest discovery.
"And?" Hitsugaya asked. Looking expectant.
"You have to be four foot nine or taller to sit in a normal seat." She looked down sadly. And Toshiro smirked inwardly, amazed at his luck.
"That's good. I guess."
"But, if you were any shorter we'd be going on a very long road trip. With a camera." She said smiling and imagining the blackmail she could've had.
"And suddenly we would've had a lot of paperwork back in the Soul Society." He shot back.
"Then we would've went on a short road trip with a camera?" She said hopefully.
"And there wouldn't be any sake to be found at the office." Her told her.
"Then we would've gone on a long road trip without a camera?" she ventured.
"And we would've worn really ugly outfits…" He added in an attempt to get her to give up.
"We could've gone on a short road trip without a camera?" She ventured further.
"And then we would've requested to do next months paperwork…" He added more to his story.
"Fine! I give. But I would've gotten you in a booster seat somehow…" She trailed off.
Okay. So this is based off that stupid commercial that says you have to be 4'9" to sit in a normal seat. And on this one website it said That Toshiro is 4'9".
