My first Drapple! Hope you like it! It's also my first poem... well first intended poem.. one of my fics which wasn't originally supposed to be a poem is apparently very poetic, so if you include that, this is the second :) . But yeah, no rhyme scheme or anything, just a little poem :)
Disclaimer- I obviously don't own Harry Potter, as my name is not JKRowling...

No matter what I faced, she was always there for me.
She was my comfort,
Some may call her my secret obsession.
But she wasn't an obsession.
She was real.
I loved her.
She loved me.
But she was dying,
Rotting.
She was slowly disintegrating before my eyes.
I couldn't bear to watch, as she became old and withered.
Ugly and mouldy.
I hold her,
But her once fresh, youthful skin
Has become withered.
She feels alien to my hands.
I don't know why I'd expected her to live forever,
Safe and young.
I'd protected her, never hurting her.
Never devouring her soul,
Or sucking the life from her like I had to the others.
She was special.
To some, they may all look the same,
But she was mine- unique and special.
I would never have hurt her like the others,
Never bitten her soft flesh.
But sometimes people die for themselves,
Unprovoked.
To the lesser beings of our species,
This may sound like an immortal sparkly vampire,
Proclaiming love to a human woman,
Who grows old before his eyes.
But the wise and educated people,
The realistic and knowledgeable,
Will know, that I am Draco Malfoy,
And she is my apple.
